Striving to blend spiritual wellness with healthy eating habits, Marci Izard has developed a method of cooking and eating that revolves around how food makes you feel. Her food philosophy aims to create a sense of balance, both inside and out. Izard gains physical strength and calm as a yoga teacher at YogaOne Studios and as a group fitness instructor at Next Level Fitness, both in Houston, Texas. She also promotes spiritual wellness and mental stability as a meditation coach.
Izard has a background in broadcast news and has served as a reporter or anchor in Texas, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. She writes a weekly food blog for the Houston Chronicle called Marci’s Table, where she shares delicious recipes that fit with her healthy food philosophy. In addition to the food blog, Izard hosts Feel Good Food, a cooking segment on CW33. She enjoys running and has participated in three marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2013. Izard balances her love of food and wine with her love of fitness. She lives in Houston, Texas, surrounded by friends and family.
