A long-time cook, Vivian Pelini Sansone is the daughter of Italian immigrants. Her mother instilled in her a love of cooking, and Sansone has always enjoyed perfecting new recipes and old standbys, much to the joy of her family. She has kept the traditions and foods of her rich Italian heritage alive in her family.
Born and raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania, she worked as a supervisor for the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania for thirty-four years. She also served as bookkeeper for the gift business that she owned with her late husband, Tom. They enjoyed traveling and watching Pittsburgh Steelers football games together.
Sansone attended the Noble-Thompson Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She resides in New Castle.
