From pre-school to high school, in public, private, and charter schools, Gina Marie Mammano teaches students the delight of language. She enjoys holding creative workshops, which help children and adults create their own stories to share.
Mammano is a teacher, storyteller, and poet. She earned a residency with Oregon State University’s Trillium Project in 2014 and 2015. She was also awarded a Summer Institute grant from the Collegeville Institute at St. John’s College in 2001. In 2016, she won first place taking home the Poetry Matters Literary Prize. Her work, which includes both poetry and prose, is published frequently.
Mammano lives on Washington’s Whidbey Island.
