Sarah Gramelspacher is a painter, illustrator, and prolific doodler working exclusively in traditional mediums (primarily graphite, watercolor, marker, and colored pencil). She loves drawing frogs, pigs, and an assortment of woodland creatures; and has a penchant for both the absurdly cute and the slightly macabre.
A lifelong resident of Louisiana, Sarah studied art with a focus on painting at the University of New Orleans, and earned a BA with a specialization in painting. After a brief stint in law school, she returned to creating art with newfound enthusiasm. Since then, Sarah has exhibited paintings in group shows on both US coasts, as well as in the New Orleans area. She also works at Fancy Faces Décor, a party rental company, as an artist, designer, seamstress, and webmaster.
She and her husband live in Madisonville, Louisiana with their Yorkshire Terrier. When she is not drawing, you’ll probably find her knitting, cooking, reading, or watching British television. |
