Illustrator and graphic designer Stefan Jolet has been drawing since he was four years old and has been creating art professionally for more than a decade. He is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
Born in New Iberia, Louisiana, Jolet’s childhood was a hodgepodge of traditional Cajun influences and more modern diversions, a combination of good food, fun music, action figures, and comic books. Stirred by the adventures of G. I. Joe, Transformers, and other heroes, Jolet creates his own stories and did so through art. His other sources of inspiration include Mike Mignola, Ashley Wood, Adam Hughes, Dan Santat, and, most of all, his son.
He lives in Youngsville, Louisiana, with his family and their dog, Noodle. |
