Stay-at-home mother of three Trisha Mickler learned the art of cooking from her grandmother, and she has loved preparing large meals for friends and family ever since! Mickler credits her taste for seafood to her Minorcan heritage, as well as to summers spent fishing in St. Augustine, Florida, while growing up. Hunting has always been an important part of her family culture, and Mickler proudly carries her grandfather’s treasured 1954 Browning 16 gauge shotgun, passed down by her father.
Mickler is an active volunteer in her small town and works with elderly assistance programs and animal rescue organizations. She also serves on the PTA of her children’s school, works as a substitute teacher, and coordinates local holiday events.
Mickler spends much of her time chasing after her children and trying to keep them full! In her free time, she enjoys gardening, photography, and browsing through flea markets. She lives with her family and two dogs in Seffner, Florida.
