About the Author
William R. Chemerka is an award-winning educator, writer, lecturer, historical interpreter, and actor. He established the Alamo Society in 1986 and is the publisher and editor of the Alamo Journal as well as the author of Pelican’s The Alamo from A to Z. He has been an on-camera consultant for six History Channel productions. Chemerka lives in Barnegat, New Jersey.
About the Illustrator
Wade Dillon is a freelance illustrator and tour guide at the Alamo. He participates in reenactments of the event and considers himself an enthusiast. He has provided artwork for Knife World, the Alamo Journal, and the Crockett Chronicle and also illustrated Chemerka’s previous title, The Alamo from A to Z. Dillon resides in San Antonio, Texas.
