Husband and wife Jon and Beverly Meyerson offer counseling at their practice in Sarasota, Florida. Together, they have coached and taught communication techniques to hundreds of couples. Jon and Beverly both had extensive training with Harville Hendrix’s internationally renowned Institute for Imago Relationship Therapy.
Jon Meyerson attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a bachelor’s degree after studying economics psychology and creative writing. In addition, he received a master’s degree in social work from the Catholic University of America and a master’s degree in economics from American University. He is a licensed clinical social worker. Meyerson spent thirty years in Washington, DC, working for several government departments, including the President’s Office of Management and Budget. Most of his work involved social welfare and poverty legislation. He is an avid tennis player and has been a student of the sport for more than sixty years.
Beverly Meyerson attended the University of California, Fullerton, Long Beach State College in Long Beach, California, and the University of Maryland. She worked with children for fifteen years as an art instructor and as the administrator of a large, multi-campus child care center. She later became the director of the B’nai B’rith International Museum Shop in Washington, DC. For several years, she was a Montgomery County, Maryland, volunteer who assisted victims of domestic violence and accompanied them to their court hearings. She is a watercolorist and a master gardener. |
